In 1994, she graduated from the Department of Physics of Zhengzhou University and got her master’s degree of condensed matter physics in 1997. In 2000, she graduated from the Institute of Semiconductors, CAS, and got her doctor’s degree of micro-electronics and solid electronics. Three years from then, she participated in the post-doctorate program in the microelectronic group of mixed signals at Eindhoven University of Technology in Holland. In 2004, she returned to China and worked for The SIMIT, CAS. She used to be the Chief Director of the Integration Test R&D Department of Shanghai Wireless Communications Research Center and currently acts as the tutor of doctoral candidates, one of the members of the Academic Committee, the Deputy Director of the 6th Research Lab, the Deputy Brach Chief of Frequency Spectrum Research Group at FuTURE Forum and one of the Senior Members of Chinese Institute of Electronics.

Wang Ping mainly engaged in the research on large-scale simulation/mixed integration circuit, breaking through the high-speed and high-accuracy A/D converter chips with our own intellectual property rights in video capture and radar application. At the beginning of the 21st century, Wang Ping engaged in the research on broadband wireless communication and testing technology, including UMTS terminal low-power transmitter of the 3rd generation mobile communication, the integration test platform of the super-3rd generation mobile communications, wireless signal channel detection of the 4th generation mobile communications and reconfigurable radio, etc. The research achievement- “A Integration Test Platform Beyond 3G System” for 863 Program has been collected in the Collections of Achievements for Oversea Students and Shanghai Yearbook of Science and Technology 2007.

Wang Ping, as a research fellow, has published over 10 academic articles in SCI/EI, applied for 5 patents of invention with two of them being authorized and has won “Vanguard in New Long March, 2006 in Changning District, Shanghai, “March 8 Red Flag Bearer” 2006 in Changning District, Shanghai and “Excellent Individual Award” 2007 at FuTURE Forum and “Leadership Style Award” 2008.
