Zhang Xin Hui
 


  Prof. Xinhui Zhang received her Ph.D. degree in physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 1997. From 1997 to 2005, She worked as post-doc and research associate in Lund University,Sweden(1997-1999); College of William & Mary, USA (200-2001); University of Oklahoma, USA (2001-2004); and University of Moncton, Canada (2004-2005), respectively. Supported by the “100 person project” of CAS, Dr. Zhang joined the State Key Laboratory of Superlattices and Microstructures, Institute of Semiconductors, CAS in 2006. Dr. Zhang’s research interests focus on the infrared optical spectroscopy studies (e.g. nonlinear and time resolved ultrafast spectroscopy, Magneto-optical study, so on) for semiconductor nanostructures. Her current research focuses on the fundamental physics of semiconductor spintronics. These include: 1) Spin dynamics and coherent control of semiconductor nanostructures. 2) Collective spin excitation and magnetization dynamics in ferromagnetic thin films, ferromagnet/semiconductor heterostructures as well as dilute magnetic semiconductors.
