Wu Xiao Guang
 


Xiaoguang Wu,State Key Laboratory for Superlattices and Microstructures, Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing P.O. Box 912, 100083, China. Dr. Wu graduated from Wuhan University, China, in 1982, and received his Ph.D from Antwerp University, Belgium, in 1986. He then worked as a postdoctoral at the Institute of Semiconductor, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 1987 to 1990, and at the Department of Physics, Ohio University´╝îOhio from 1990 to 1993. He came back to China in 1993 and jointed the Institute of Semiconductor, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Currently, he is the Director of the State Key Laboratory for Superlattices and Microstructures. His scientific research includes the property of polarons in low dimensions, the cyclotron resonance in quasi two-dimensional coupled electron-phonon systems, and the lateral magnetic superlattices. He has published about 40 scientific papers on prestigious international physics journals. He is currently interested in the electron spin related optical and transport properties in low dimensional semiconductor quantum structures.
