    Dr. Xindong Mu is a professor of Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (QIBEBT-CAS), where he leads the Green Chemocatalysis Group. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Shandong University in 2000, and his PhD in Physical Chemistry from Peking University in 2005. From 2005 to 2008, he worked in Prof. Yasuhiro Iwasawa’s group at the University of Tokyo as a research associate, focusing on the development of heterogeneous catalysts. He joined QIBEBT in 2008 as an associate professor and was promoted to full professor in 2010. Dr. Mu is the principal investigator of tens of research grants from the National 863 Programme, the National Scientific Foundation of China, the local governments and enterprises. He has filed 24 Chinese patents and published over 20 peer-reviewed papers in leading journals including J. Am. Chem. Soc., Chem. Commun., Green Chem., J. Mater. Chem., and J. Catal., etc. His current research interests include green chemistry and catalysis.
