Resume:

Dr. Jian Ru Gong received her Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry from Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS) under the direction of Academician Chunli Bai in 2005. She was a Postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Charles M. Lieber at Harvard University, Chemistry & Chemical Biology Department during 2005-2008. She joined National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, China (NCNST) in 2009, and is a professor at NCNST now.

Young Talent of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2011), Beijing Science and Technology Prize (2010), Chinese National Natural Science Prize (2007), First-rank Prize of China Association for Instrumental Analysis (2006), Procter & Gamble Honorary Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2004), Young Scientist Prize of ICCAS (2004).
Prof. Gong is on the editorial board of Journal of Bioterrorism & Biodefense, a reviewer of American Chemistry Society Journals etc., and has membership of American/Chinese Chemistry Society, Material Research Society, Chinese Society of Toxicology and Chinese Society of Micro-Nano Technology.
