| Received his B. E. in 1984, M. E. in 1987, and Ph. D. in 1996 in M. S. & E., from Northwestern Polytechnic University, Xi’an, China. Also was an Associate Professor and Lecturer at the same University in 1989-1996. Performed post-doctoral research at Institute of Solid State Physics (ISSP), CAS in 1996-1998. Appointed as a full Prof. in ISSP, CAS, Hefei, China from 1999. Visited Max-Planck-Institut fur Metallforschung (Stuttgart, Germany) 3 months every year in 1998-2001 as a visiting scholar. Worked in Rensselaer Nanotechnology Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, USA, as a postdoc from Nov. 2002 to Dec. 2004. |
